Data We Collect
When you create an account we collect:
- Email address and name
- Financial transaction data you import or sync from your bank accounts
- Usage data (pages visited, features used) via Plausible Analytics — anonymised, no cookies
How We Use Your Data
We use your data to:
- Provide and maintain the service
- Authenticate your account and keep it secure
- Send you transactional emails (account confirmation, password reset)
- Improve the service through aggregated, anonymised usage stats
We do not sell your data to any third party, ever.
Where Your Data Is Stored
All user data is stored on Hetzner servers located in Germany (EU), subject to GDPR protections.
AI Features
When you use AI-powered features, relevant financial data (such as transaction descriptions and amounts) is sent to OpenAI (United States) for processing. This transfer is covered by appropriate data protection safeguards. Data shared with OpenAI is subject to OpenAI's Privacy Policy.
Analytics
We use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-friendly tool that does not use cookies and does not track you across sites. All analytics data is anonymised and stored in the EU.
Data Retention
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing [email protected].

Children's Privacy
